Shows & EventsFriday–Sunday, April 30–May 2, 2010: Ceramic Showcase, Portland, Oregon visit with Boni & Dave (Booth #D15) at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland, OR, Friday and Saturday from 10am-9 pm, and Sunday from 10am-5pm; free admission, over 200 clay artists, excellent clay demonstrations throughout the day, public clay activities. All the artists themselves host the show and are present to visit with you. The largest show of its kind in the USA. Clay Art Center, Tacoma, Washington — Join Boni & Dave and other raku artists at this exciting and FUN summer event! Dave demonstrates firing a large raku piece and throwing a large pot, and Boni demonstrates their surface decorating techniques. Try your hand at traditional raku, naked raku, horse tail, foil saggar, and more! Bring your own 5 bisque pots, or purchase available bisque pieces, to glaze. In past years the day has run from 10AM – 4PM. Lunch, glazing and firing are included. Space is limited and has been fills up before the day, so preregistration is necessary.
