Description

In section 6, NE of Iron Peak, on Chelan County/Kittitas County county border.

One story of the origin of Bill's Peak name is that it was named after Bill Maxwell, who was a scramble chairman for The Mountaineers. Nearby Judi Peak is named after Bill's wife.

I've also been told that Bill's Peak was named after Bill Prater. Perhaps Gene's Peak, immediately to the west of Bill's Peak, is named after Gene Prater, Bill's brother. About the Prater brothers: http://www.snowshoemag.com/vie...
