Trip Reports and References

Name origin

"Peak 4440+ is dubbed 'Greenway Mountain,' after the thankful work of the Mountains to Sound Greenway angels. This is a 440-foot prominence summit on the ridge running from Mount Washington to McClellan Butte south of I-90, at the very headwaters of Hall Creek (famous for its missing railway trestle for many years). Don't confuse 'Greenway' with 4320+ 'Eastern Washington' (AKA 'Change Peak'.)" -John Roper in Pack and Paddle, January 2002.
