Description

Rooster Mountain is one corner of a triangle of peaks (the "barnyard trifecta") all named after animals. The other two peaks are Dog Mountain and Goat Mountain.

Rooster Mountain is also known as "The Ark", presumably because of all the peaks and lakes named after animals around it.
