Date: 2004/09/22 Trip type: scramble Total Time: 3 hours 3 minutes USGS quad: Snoqualmie Pass In areas: South Fork Snoqualmie Drainage, Alpine Lakes Wilderness Aesthetic rating: 3/5 Trip Organizer: The Mountaineers Scrambling Committee We took the bootpath starting at the first Alpental parking lot (just south of the Snow Lake trailhead). The first section of the trail was steep, rocky, wet (the trail is a creek for a while), and a bit brushy. When the trail got to a clearing it forked left to Snoqualmie Mountain and right to Guye Peak. We took the right fork to the top of the ridge and another intersection, we took the right fork along the ridge to Guye Peak (the left fork must lead to Commonwealth Basin). There was a bit of easy rock scrambling in the last part of the trail. CommentsAfter the first intersection in the clearing the trail passes through beautiful woods and meadows. There is a lovely little pond on the top of the ridge.References
