Trip Report

Chris and I met at the TNAB rendezvous point then drove to the Mason Lake trailhead. Don and Linda pulled in a minute later.

Soon Don was setting a blistering pace up the trail, which starts fairly level and progressively gets steeper until it finally levels out when it reaches the top of the ridge leading to the summit. We stopped at the first summit where the trail ends, I made a half-hearted attempt to convince them to continue on across the ridge to the higher summit and was a bit relieved when nobody was game.

There was no snow on the trail. We ran into 5 or 6 other parties on the trail.
