Trip Report

Carla and I parked at the intersection of the North Fork Teanaway Road (Road 9737) and the Beverly Creek Road (Road 112) and headed up the SE ridge of Iron Peak. The ridge was clear and easy all the way, but I'll bet the ridge line on the last half a mile of ridge before the summit can be pretty corniced at times. Views from the top included Gene's Peak, Bill's Peak, Volcanic Neck, Bean Peak, Esmerelda Peaks, Koppen Mountain, and pretty much the whole Stuart Range.
