Date: 2005/09/03 to 2005/09/05 Trip type: hike Round-trip distance: approx. 32 miles USGS Quad: Remmel Mountain In Area: Pasayten Wilderness Trip Organizer: The Mountaineers Scrambling Committee Trip ReportWe followed the route described in 75 Scrambles in Washington: Classic Routes to the Summits. It wasn't really a scramble as there was a very good trail leading all the way to the summit. Most of the trail was dusty and heavily traveled by horses. A horseman staying in one of our camps let loose with his rifle while in camp, firing four shots, we guessed that he was trying to shoot a bird but weren't brave enough to go over and find out.
