Trip Report

Ian and I parked on the Teanaway River Road at 29 Pines, this is as far as the road is plowed in the winter. We headed NE to the ridge that runs south from point 3896. There were a few brushy spots on the ridge up to point 3896. After point 3896 the trees were tight initially, but then it opened up and became nice, with openings in the trees that allowed views to the north and south. We ran out of time at point 4,480'+.

From point 4,480 we booted SE directly down to the road that runs along Jack Creek. I enjoyed skiing this road back to 29 Pines, there were a lot of rolling meadows that were run to skate through.

On our drive back we stopped to check out a small limestone cliff on the east side of the Teanaway River Road. The rock was too crumbly for climbing, but it was a beautiful spot.
