Marble Peak via NW ridge

• Matt fording the Stillaguamish at 7:30 AM

• We did lots of steep traversing

• Matt on the first of the two short pitches to the summit

• Yana on the summit

• Lindsay on the summit

• Lindsay descending the summit block

• The forecasted clear weather was 8 hours late

• Long Mountain

• Crawling over blowdown

• Chest deep in brush and it is almost dark

• We still have 40 minutes of bushwacking left

• There is nothing better than sitting on a snowy log in the dark

• There is nothing better than fording a freezing river in the dark

• Matt was smart and brought waders for fording the river

• Matt silhouetted by our car headlights. I was really looking forward to the heater warming up.
